Testimonials

Our daughter has a high expectation of educational quality and is not always easily satisfied, but she enjoyed this program and thought it was worth spending two February vacation days. She told us all about the activities each day. She gave high marks to the instructors, too, for their knowledge and concern. One thing she mentioned that I am glad you did was talk about the challenges women scientists face in the workplace. Thanks for offering the program.

Our daughter had a great experience! The real-life experience with professors, researchers, and graduate students in their work-place environment was very beneficial to educating our daughter in areas of science that she may not otherwise get to experience in such depth on her own. The addition of insight into the college application process, and opportunities for future work in scientific research and engineering was a great additional element to the program.

The workshop was an excellent introduction to higher level science in the area of my childs interest. She is very interested in Marine biology, and this is the perfect way for her to learn about a career in the field.
